– Charles Humphrey Keating IV (February 1, 1985 – March 4, 2016) was a United States Navy sailor and Navy SEAL operator. He was deployed in Tel Askuf, Iraq. He and his fellow U.S. Navy SEALs were performing in an advise and assist role with Kurdish Peshmerga forces when they came under assault from more than 100 enemy fighters.
– Charlie was posthumously recognized with the Silver Star for his courageous leadership and bravery.
