- Marc Lee was the first SEAL killed in Iraq. Marc died on August 2, 2006 in Ramadi, Iraq during combat operations with SEAL team 3, Charlie platoon. Marc was a new guy in the unit and serving under Chris Kyle AKA American Sniper.
